Biography
Ajahn Brahmavamso was born in London in 1951.
His interest in Buddhism and meditation flourished while
studying theoretical physics at Cambridge University. He
ordained at the age of 23 and studied under Venerable Ajahn Chah for 9 years. Ajahn Brahm is now the Spiritual Director of
the Buddhist Society of Western Australia (BSWA) and Abbot
of Bodhinyana Buddhist Monastery in Perth. Currently -with
the aid of YouTube- Ajahn Brahmavamso’s Friday night Dhamma
talks reach a weekly audience 25,000 people.
